With more than 50 years of experience, Joramco has built a sound track record as a leading independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility serving a wide range of customers in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, Russia and the CIS countries, offering services on several aircraft models from the Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer fleets.

  • 1963
    Was established as the Jordanian flag carrier’s engineering unit at Amman Marka Airport.
  • 1983
    Moved to a purpose built-factory at Queen Alia International Airport
  • 2000
    Became independent entity – Joramco– owned by the Government of Jordan
  • 2005
    Started continuous improvement program by Oliver Wyman
  • 2006
    Added capability on B737 (classic and NG), A300 and A330
  • 2007
    Initiated Joramco Academy in association with AST of Perth
    Doubled Capacity by adding two large bays (size=16,000 sqm)
  • 2008
    Added capability on Embraer capabilities (170/175/190/195)
    Automation by implementing IT maintainance system, Maintenix
  • 2009
    Added additional A330 capabilities
  • 2012
    Company restructure & introduction of new quality and efficiency programs

    Acquired several long term contracts
