About Us

Overview

With more than 50 years of experience, Joramco has built a sound track record as a leading independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility serving a wide range of customers in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, Russia and the CIS countries, offering services on several aircraft models from the Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer fleets.

Joramco facility consists of 5 wide body state of art hangars that can accommodate up to 15 wide & narrow body aircraft, supported by 10 workshops specialized in the repair and overhaul of over 400 product lines, in addition to a full range of specialized services through which more than 5000 components are processed through our shops throughout the year.

Joramco has spacious areas for aircraft parking and storage programs that can take up to 25 aircraft ( wide and narrow body) in addition to a vast warehouse that contains more than 70,000 stock items with a worth value of $14M to support our operations.

History

  • 1963
    Established as the Jordanian flag carrier’s engineering unit at Amman Marka Airport.
  • 1983
    Moved to a purpose built-factory at Queen Alia International Airport
  • 2000
    Became independent entity – Joramco– owned by the Government of Jordan
  • 2005
    Started continuous improvement program by Oliver Wyman
  • 2006
    Added capability on B737 (classic and NG), A300 and A330
  • 2007
    Initiated Joramco Academy in association with AST of Perth
    Doubled Capacity by adding two large bays (size=16,000 sqm)
  • 2008
    Added capability on Embraer capabilities (170/175/190/195)
    Implemented IT maintenance system, Maintenix
  • 2009
    Added additional A330 capabilities
  • 2012
    Company restructure & introduction of new quality and efficiency programs
  • 2013
    Acquired several long term contracts
  • 2015
    Added the B787 capability/A- Check
  • 2016
    Became part of the globally recognized Dubai Aerospace Enterprise
  • 2017
    Added the B737 MAX capability
  • 2018
    Added the B787 C Check capability
    "Our Transformation Journey" started
  • 2019
    Added the A320neo capability
    Added the B777 capability
  • 2020
    First B777 Longeron modification performed
    Supported many customers during COVID19 (Alitalia repatriation flight, Availing parking area to accommodate SWISS aircraft storage)
